Jennifer VanHoesen brings vibrant energy to Valencia Middle School as a dedicated 7th and 8th Grade Counselor. Now in her seventh year with TUSD and her sixth at Valencia, Jennifer transitioned from a long-term substitute to a permanent pillar of the school's fantastic staff. She was drawn to Valencia by the welcoming, positive environment she felt from day one, and she has been 100% committed to its success ever since.

What truly sets Jennifer apart is her deep-rooted passion for the TUSD community and her unwavering belief in the power of great teamwork. She is a massive advocate for her school, frequently praising the great teachers and staff that makes Valencia a premier place for students to grow.

When she isn't shaping young minds or supporting her 8th graders, Jennifer finds joy in the great outdoors through camping with her husband and serving as a dedicated Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts. Her commitment to excellence and community is truly what makes TUSD a wonderful place to learn and thrive!
